His sound can best be described as heavy, melodic, moody and atmospheric with visceral lyrics that touch upon highly personal and emotional themes.

David HK is a NY based Doom/Sludge Metal Guitarist and Vocalist. His music is raw, gritty and unique while also maintaining tightness and skill. He has been known to take classic rock songs and give them a heavier edge.

His influences, inspiration, and vibe are attached to artists like Type O Negative, Paradise Lost, My Dying Bride, Khemmis, and Candlemass as well as some classic 80s Gothic Rock bands such as Sisters of Mercy, Bauhaus, Christian Death and the Cult.

His music has been featured on The Mind of Little Rage Podcast, The Demonic Hour and UK’s TLS Radio, Drinking with The Devil Podcast and is on regular rotation on TFSC Radio. David HK has done musical collaborations with Ukranium, Eclectic Blonde, DemonScar, and keyboardist Irek Walczuk.
