Kickin Valentina may be the best hard rock band that you’ve never heard of. They’ve opened for the likes of Fozzy, Sebastian Bach, Pop Evil, and Queensryche over the years, which are pretty kickass achievements to have under the belt; however the band hasn’t taken over the world—yet. The good news is that you still have time to help jumpstart the Kickin Valentina bandwagon before it speeds off and leaves your lazy bum in the dust. You’ll be able to brag that you were an old school fan way back before they blew up. On August 11 the band will release Imaginary Creatures. And guess what, we can’t find a single thing to dislike about this album or band. Every track is a hit. All ten songs are catchy, groovy, and loud as hell. Their in-your-face sound falls somewhere between Guns N’ Roses and Buckcherry, and their presence summons those good old darkened spirits of the Sunset Strip—think Motley Crue and early 90’s Rob Zombie. In other words, this band makes pure unapologetic rock ‘n’ roll. Kickin Valentina features Joe Edwards on vocals, Heber Pampillon on guitar, Chris Taylor on bass, and Jimmy Berdine on drums. Check out Imaginary Creatures on August 11 and look for them on tour this fall in Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Belgium, Denmark, and Sweden.
In the meantime, soak in the official music video for “Wrong Way” off of the 2015’s Super Atomic album.
