Progressive heavy metal band Queensrÿche shows up on the Gears of Rock Top 100 Countdown in the #87 position. These guys dropped three consecutive platinum records in the late ’80s and early ’90s, including the great concept album “Operation: Mindcrime.” Queensrÿche is best known for their hit ballad “Silent Lucidity” and the Grammy-nominated track “I Don’t Believe in Love.” Their best songs are “Empire,” “Eyes of a Stranger,” “Bridge,” “Jet City Woman,” “I Don’t Believe in Love,” “Queen of the Reich,” “Operation: Mindcrime,” and “Take Hold of the Flame.”
