Kiss lead guitarist Tommy Thayer was interviewed on the red carpet by StarCam’s Jennifer Tapiero at The Heart Foundation benefit last week.

Thayer says that it is “year of the Monster,” referring to the forthcoming Kiss album and summer tour with Mötley Crüe. “This is a big year for Kiss.”

Every Kiss show is a “huge workout” according to Thayer. The Kiss-Crüe Tour, referred to as The Tour, will begin July 20 in Bristow, VA.
