Update July 2013: AC/DC is writing new music for their upcoming album, which will most likely release in 2014. The title of the new AC/DC album and track listing has not been released as of yet. When AC/DC releases a new album, the band historically embarks on a massive world tour often lasting into the following year. It is safe to expect that AC/DC will issue tour dates for 2014 and 2015. Good news for AC/DC fans – it looks like there will be a new album in 2013 or 2014! This information comes directly from rhythm guitarist Malcolm Young, the best rhythm in the history of hard rock. “It’ll be a little while –- a year or two anyway,” Young told Classic Rock Magazine in a recent interview.

AC/DC’s last album Black Ice was released in 2008, followed by a massive world tour. It was a dynamite record too. We can’t wait for the next one. This will be studio album number 16 if you count the international releases.
